Donna Marie Liu

Donna Marie Liu MS, LPC

I am a L.P.C. with a MS degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling. I believe that it is helpful to bring your spiritual beliefs into the healing process. Starting psychotherapy is the beginning of feeling at home with yourself. It is a place where you can feel safe, grounded and secure, as you explore the difficult areas in your life that you may not want to face alone. Therapy can help you identify unhealthy thinking, and break destructive patterns, so you can make better choices. It also helps you to discover your own inner strengths that can bring deeper healings from within. We are all a work in progress!

I specialize in working with those who are struggling with life transitions, trauma/PTSD, relationship issues, loss and grief, terminal illness, infidelity, abuse, chronic pain, spiritual pain, codependency, loneliness, depression and anxiety. I also enjoy working with caregivers and those working in the medical field, especially during this Covid19 crisis.

Let's work together to unravel your preconceptions, fears and concerns that are preventing you from having the life you want! You matter too! Therapy is the beginning of you taking charge of your own inner growth. Learn how to transform your pain into healing! I am a certified childhood sexual abuse therapist and Level II EMDR trained. You can do this!

You have 168 hours in a week. SLOW DOWN. You are wonderful. You will learn how to transform your pain and not to transmit it. If you have problems with any type of violence, we can work on being gentler with yourself and others. Any type of -isms in your life - racism, sexism, classism, ableism, anti-Semitism, ageism and heterosexism- we will work on self-kindness together. The call is free. If you are reading this - PICK UP YOUR PHONE and CALL. I invite you to decide if you would like to come in and try counseling with me. Change is not easy but investing in yourself is one of the best gifts you can give your loved ones.

The way I work is to help you transform your pain rather than transmitting it. Everyone has pain in their lives not everyone has to suffer. We will work on suffering less. Looking forward to be on the journey with you.

It would be an honor to be on the journey with you. I am here to serve you and you know yourself better than anyone. We will work on self-care and help you discover your most authentic self. You will be "working out" different muscles on the journey. It will be a struggle at times. You are worth it.

Valerie Latney

Valerie Latney MS, LPC

What if your best life is just a phone call away? What would you be willing to do? Don't let guilt, shame, heart aches, or betrayal hold you back any longer. Live long enough and you or someone you know can experience any of these issues. Experiencing any of these circumstances can leave you feeling loss, helpless, hopeless and stuck. Unresolved hurts from our past or present can keep us trapped or disillusioned that life can never get better. My name is Valerie Latney, and I would be honored to journey with you into well being.

I am a strong proponent of healing from a body, mind and Spirit approach. In this integrational approach to well being I seek to bring clients to a greater awareness of who they are. Why they feel, think and act in ways that shape and mold their way of being. I am able to address your mental, emotional as well as Spiritual needs.

I am a multicultural cross generational clinician who seeks to assist clients in a manner that promotes growth through their struggles. If you are committed to do the work for a better way of living. Contact me. STOP just EXISTING and START LIVING.

Life's ups and downs are sometimes overwhelming and can impact one's mental and physical state. In a safe space, I gently challenge clients to work on becoming more self-aware, so they can break unhealthy patterns which affect how we see ourselves and others.

I believe in the mind, body and spirit connection and that the human spirit has the ability to overcome life's many challenges.

In current times, we are experiencing much grief and loss in our lives. As an eclectic counselor, I am committed to journey with you on the road toward self-acceptance, inner-peace and joy. The decision to take this journey is the best gift you can give to yourself. I am honored to be an instrument to help you regain wholeness and fulfillment in life.
